Notting Hill Editions is an independent British publisher of beautiful and collectable books for the curious reader. The company was founded in 2011 by Tom Kremer (1930–2017), a champion of innovation and the man responsible for popularizing the Rubik’s Cube. After a successful business career in toy invention Tom decided, at the age of eighty, to fulfil his passion for literature.
In a fast-moving digital world Tom’s aim was to revive the art of the essay, and to create exceptionally beautiful books that would be lingered over and cherished. Hailed as ‘the shape of things to come’, we bring to print the most surprising thinkers of past and present. Our authors include Margaret Atwood, John Berger, Thomas Bernhard, Gyles Brandreth, Lavinia Greenlaw, Susan Greenfield, Keith Kahn-Harris, Deborah Levy, Jonathan Littell, Adam Mars-Jones, Ian Nairn, Emily Rapp Black, Richard Sennett and Tracey Ullman to name only a few.
